Science & Evidence
FitPath™ is built on evidence-based pillars of movement, recovery, and behavioural adherence. We draw on published clinical guidelines and emerging digital health research.
Clinical foundations
NICE guideline NG226 recommends exercise, education, and weight management as core first-line treatments for osteoarthritis. The WHO recognises musculoskeletal conditions as a leading cause of disability worldwide. FitPath™ is designed to support these recommendations in the gaps between clinical appointments.
Digital self-management
Emerging evidence from the BMJ, Lancet, and Cochrane reviews suggests that digital self-management tools can improve pain, function, and self-efficacy in people with osteoarthritis — particularly when guidance is personalised and adaptive.
Our approach
Real-world adherence is the hard part. FitPath™ is designed for small, sustainable wins — daily check-ins that take 30 seconds, movement aligned with your clinician's programme, and progress visible over time. We are evaluating outcomes through pilot programmes, beginning with our partnership with Tees Valley Sport.
